Every walk-in cooler for sale from WFE is built new to your floor plan and installed across Ontario by our own crew. Panels come from Norbec and Kingspan, doors from Coldmatic, refrigeration from KeepRite and Heatcraft. We do not stock or resell used equipment; on replacement projects we quote a trade-in credit for your old unit instead.

Standard builds (8×8 to 12×16) go from quote approval to commissioned in about 2 weeks, against a 4 to 6 week industry norm.
1-year workmanship warranty on the install, a 1-year guarantee on new equipment, and an optional manufacturer compressor warranty up to 5 years.

WFE does not stock used units for resale. Every walk-in we sell is built for the buyer, and on replacement projects your old unit can earn a trade-in credit against the new build.

The build process
Same workflow on every build. The spec sheet follows the unit from measure to handover.
We measure the space, check door paths, floor condition, and where the refrigeration can reject heat. Odd corners and low ceilings get caught here, not on install day.
Panel layout, door placement, and refrigeration load are calculated from your product and traffic. One quote covers supply, install, and commissioning.
Norbec or Kingspan panels and the Coldmatic door package go on order, matched to the spec sheet. Panel certification paperwork (NSF, FM, ASTM E84) follows the panels.
Our own crew erects panels, hangs the door, and runs the refrigeration. Standard builds land about 2 weeks from quote approval, not the 4 to 6 week industry norm.
A 313A-licensed tech commissions the refrigeration and verifies set-point under load. You get operator training and the warranty paperwork at handover.

Shopping the used market?
WFE sells new only, but plenty of operators price a used walk-in freezer for sale elsewhere first. These five checks separate a workable unit from a project, whether the listing says used commercial freezer or commercial freezer second hand. If a unit fails two or more, price a new build before you commit.
The single biggest predictor of remaining service life. Pull the data plate, check the build date.
Indicates moisture-saturated insulation. Unfixable short of replacing the panel.
A leak you will pay for in energy cost forever. Gaskets are cheap to replace and expensive to ignore.
A major freezer-floor repair that is easy to miss on a cursory inspection. Test the circuit, do not just look.
R22 is phased out and now expensive to service. Recharge costs have multiplied and long-term supply is uncertain.
