How the configurator works

  1. Start with the box: a 10 × 8 × 8 ft walk-in with a door, refrigeration and lights already in place. Make it a cooler, freezer or combo and change the size to match your space.
  2. Set the details: size, shape, wall panels, doors, refrigeration and the inside. Skip any step you like; the defaults are what most Ontario walk-ins ship with.
  3. Get your PDF: enter your name and email and a one-page spec sheet downloads. Your rep gets the same design and calls within one business day.

Sizing tips before you start

  • Measure the space: note the floor size and ceiling height where the walk-in will go, plus where the refrigeration can sit.
  • Cooler or freezer: coolers hold about 4 °C (39 °F) and freezers about −18 °C (0 °F). A combo puts both behind one set of walls.
  • Door clearance: a swing door needs open floor in front of it. Sliding and roll-up doors save that space.
  • Pallet racking: plan about 10 ft of aisle in front of the rack so a pallet jack can turn.

Does the configurator give me a price?

What happens after I send my design?

Your design reaches our team the moment you send the form, and your PDF downloads on your device. A WFE rep calls within one business day to confirm the site, finalize the layout and price the build.

Can I save my design and finish it later?

Yes. The configurator remembers your design on this device. Save draft also gives you a link and a QR code, so you can open it on another device or send it to a partner.

Do I need to know refrigeration to use it?

No. Every option comes with a plain-word hint, and the defaults match what most Ontario walk-ins ship with. The heat load and electricity numbers are estimates; your rep confirms them when sizing the equipment.

Can I design a cooler and freezer combo?

Yes. Choose Combo as the walk-in type. A partition splits one box into a cooler side and a freezer side, each with its own temperature, doors and evaporators.
