About the WFE installations portfolio
01 How long does a commercial walk-in cooler install take?
Standard commercial walk-in coolers run 3 to 5 weeks from panel arrival to commissioning. Multi-zone grocery cold storage runs 6 to 10 weeks. Industrial cold storage builds vary by scope and crew coordination: a 4,000 sq ft cooler-plus-freezer combo with WFE handling everything in-house can deliver in under 30 days (Atlas Foods). Cathedral-scale industrial cold chain operations with continuous-load refrigeration and multi-trade coordination run 8 to 12 weeks (Pacer Air Freight). The timeline depends on equipment lead times, building electrical readiness, and whether the work is in-house or split across subcontractors.
02 What size walk-ins does WFE build?
WFE installs commercial walk-in coolers and freezers from standard restaurant-scale (around 10 by 12 feet) up to cathedral-scale industrial cold storage envelopes (8,000+ sq ft, multi-zone). The portfolio above includes the full range. The right size depends on the operator's daily throughput, the product profile, and the building footprint.
03 Does WFE do projects outside Ontario?
WFE's service footprint is Ontario. Builds run across the GTA, Southwestern Ontario, Eastern Ontario, and Northern Ontario through Sudbury. National-scale projects can be discussed case by case via the form at the bottom of the page.
04 Why are the projects shown without customer names on some pages?
Some customer identities are protected by NDA or by the operator's preference. The technical details of every project (refrigeration spec, scope of work, build outcome) are accurate. Customer testimonials are added as operators approve them.
